Who can take part
- You must have either refractory immune-mediated platelet transfusion refractoriness (PTR) or relapsed/refractory immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) that hasn't improved with standard treatments.
- For PTR: you must be between 16 and 65 years old, have tried at least 3 standard therapies, and have a life expectancy of more than 3 months.
- For ITP: you must be 18 or older, have a platelet count below 30×10⁹/L after initial treatment, and have tried first-line drugs, second-line thrombopoiesis-stimulating agents, and rituximab (or had an ineffective splenectomy).
- You must have adequate heart function (LVEF ≥50%), kidney function (creatinine below 1.6 mg/dL), and liver function (AST and bilirubin within limits).
- You must not have uncontrolled infections, active hepatitis B or C, HIV, syphilis, or be pregnant or breastfeeding.
