Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older with a B-cell blood cancer that is refractory or relapsed (came back after treatment).
  • You need at least one measurable tumor (size 1.5 cm or larger) if you have lymphoma, or persistent minimal cancer cells if you have B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
  • Your organs (liver, kidneys, heart, and bone marrow) must be functioning well enough based on blood tests and heart scan.
  • You should be able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0–2) and have an expected survival of at least 12 weeks.
  • You must not have had other treatments (chemotherapy, radiation, or certain drugs) within the last 2 weeks before starting.
  • You cannot join if you have active infections, severe heart problems, certain other cancers, or a history of seizures or central nervous system disease.
