Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 80 years old
  • You had a stroke (either from a clot or bleeding) that was diagnosed by a CT or MRI scan
  • Your stroke happened between 1 and 6 months ago
  • You have moderate to severe trouble moving your affected arm (score between 20 and 60 on a standard motor test)
  • You are medically stable and can attend treatment sessions 3 times per week
  • You are able to understand the study and give your permission to participate
