Who can take part

  • You have epilepsy that is not controlled by medication (drug-resistant epilepsy) and it starts in the temporal lobe of your brain.
  • You are already scheduled to have SEEG (a procedure where doctors place electrodes inside your brain to find where seizures come from).
  • You can cooperate with the treatment and related tests.
  • You understand the study and are willing to sign a consent form.
  • You are not currently in a prolonged seizure or having seizures back-to-back.
  • You do not have a severe medical condition, are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and are not participating in another trial at the same time.
