Who can take part

  • You are between 14 and 65 years old
  • Your seizures have not been controlled by at least two different medications
  • You have at least two disabling seizures per month, with no more than 30 days between them
  • An MRI shows shrinkage (atrophy) in one part of your hippocampus and a bright spot on T2 imaging on the same side
  • Your brain wave tests (EEG) and brain scan (PET) show that your seizures start from one area on the same side of the brain
