Who can take part
- You are between 40 and 80 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and it has been confirmed by a central review of your CT scan or lung biopsy.
- Your lung function tests show a forced expiratory volume (FEV1) to forced vital capacity (FVC) ratio of at least 0.7.
- Your FVC is at least 45% of the normal predicted value for someone of your age and height.
- Your diffusion capacity for carbon monoxide (DLco) is at least 30% of the normal predicted value.
- You are willing to use effective birth control if you or your partner could become pregnant, and you avoid donating sperm or eggs from the start of the trial until 30 days after the last dose.
