Who can take part
- You must be at least 30 years old (or 18 for the cardiac sarcoid group).
- You should have a diagnosis of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) or untreated cardiac sarcoidosis, or be a healthy volunteer.
- You cannot have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or mechanical heart valve.
- You must be able to lie flat for a PET/CT and MRI scan.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You cannot have active cancer, severe liver or kidney disease, or certain other serious conditions.
