Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have sarcoidosis, and your doctor suspects it may involve your heart
  • You may have heart symptoms (like fainting, ongoing palpitations, or heart failure signs) and/or heart rhythm or conduction problems (like certain heart blocks or rhythm issues)
  • You must be able to have PET/MRI safely, including staying still and holding your breath for about 10 seconds
  • You must be able to follow a low-carbohydrate diet for 24 hours and then fast for 6 hours before the scan
