Who can take part

  • You are a teenager between 12 and 17 years old
  • Your BMI is at or above the 90th percentile for your age and gender
  • Your primary caregiver (like a parent) has a BMI of 25 or higher and is willing to join the program
  • You live with your primary caregiver in a rural area (small town or countryside)
  • Both you and your caregiver have a separate Android or Apple smartphone with internet access
  • Both you and your caregiver speak and understand English well
  • Your obesity is not caused by a medication or a long-term health condition like Down syndrome
