Who can take part

  • You are between 50 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with wet age-related macular degeneration (a condition causing fluid buildup under the retina).
  • You have already received at least 6 anti-VEGF injections in the last year (or at least 4 in the last 6 months) and still have fluid in your retina.
  • Your vision is between about 20/40 and 20/320 (you can read some letters on an eye chart).
  • You do not have other major eye diseases or uncontrolled health conditions like high blood pressure or diabetes.
