Brain response to reward cues in young adults

This study looks at how the brain reacts to cues that signal rewards in young adults ages 18 to 22. Participants will do computer tasks and have an MRI scan to understand differences in how people respond to reward-related signals.

  • Be 18 to 22 years old
  • Be right-handed
  • Speak and understand English
  • Be willing to have an MRI scan (no metal in body, not pregnant, not claustrophobic)
  • Not have a history of psychosis or serious medical or brain conditions
  • Not be taking certain medications for the last 6 months
