Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older
  • You have tested positive for antibiotic-resistant bacteria (like CRE, ESBL, VRE, or MRSA) in your gut at least 28 days ago, confirmed by two different tests
  • Your neutrophil count (a type of infection-fighting white blood cell) is above 500 per microliter
  • Your life expectancy is at least 12 months
  • You can swallow large capsules or are able to undergo a colonoscopy
