Visual training for kids after lens surgery

Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 4 and 12 years old.
  • They have been diagnosed with congenital ectopia lentis (a naturally dislocated lens).
  • They had surgery to remove the lens and place a new artificial one in both eyes, with the second eye done within the past month (give or take a week).
  • Their best corrected vision (with glasses or contacts) is worse than normal for their age but no worse than 20/200 in at least one eye.
  • They have no other eye surgeries, serious eye conditions, or neurological problems like epilepsy triggered by lights.
  • You and your child must agree to take part and sign a consent form.
