Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with pancreatic adenocarcinoma (a type of pancreatic cancer) through a biopsy.
  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your cancer must be locally advanced (has not spread to other parts of the body) based on recent scans.
  • You must have had at least 4 cycles of chemotherapy (Folfirinox or Gemzar-Abraxane), but no more than 8 cycles.
  • You cannot have had radiation to your belly area before, and you must be able to have an MRI (no metal implants, no severe claustrophobia).
  • If you are a woman who can become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test and use effective birth control during the study.
