Who can take part

  • You are between 65 and 75 years old.
  • You have been told by a doctor that you have medial compartment knee osteoarthritis (arthritis inside the knee).
  • You can walk without needing a cane, walker, or any other aid.
  • You do not have any nerve or brain condition like Parkinson's, stroke, or multiple sclerosis.
  • You have not had surgery on your leg (hip, knee, or ankle) in the last year.

This trial tests whether textured shoe insoles can improve foot function and reduce pain in people with long-standing plantar fasciopathy (a common cause of heel pain). You may join if your condition has lasted at least 3 months and you can walk for 20 minutes, but you must be otherwise healthy without recent leg injuries or other balance issues.
