Who can take part
- Must be taking a GLP-1 medicine (like Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro) for weight loss only
- Be 18 years or older
- Having planned (not emergency) surgery with an overnight hospital stay expected
- No history of hiatus hernia, stomach surgery, or Parkinson's disease
- No long-term use of strong painkillers (opioids)
- Not pregnant, and able to lie on your right side for a test
