Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with locally advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be surgically removed.
- You have not received any previous cancer treatment for this disease, including chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery.
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You are in reasonably good health (able to care for yourself, up and about more than half of waking hours).
- Your tumor is measurable on a CT scan (at least 1 cm across).
- Your blood counts, liver, kidney, and heart function are adequate based on lab tests.
- You do not have an active autoimmune disease or take strong immune-suppressing medicines.
- You have not had another cancer in the past 5 years (except for treated skin or cervical cancer).
- You are not pregnant and are willing to use contraception if needed.
