Who can take part

  • Your child is scheduled for an MRI at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
  • Your child needs medication to sleep through the MRI (anesthesia).
  • Your child is between birth and 7 years old.
  • Your child does not have any implanted device that is unsafe for MRI (like a pacemaker).
  • Your child must be stable enough for an extra 10 minutes of MRI time.
