Who can take part

  • You are 60 years old or older.
  • You have a diagnosis of 'normal pressure hydrocephalus' (fluid buildup in the brain).
  • You have trouble walking (feeling like feet are stuck, shuffling, or start hesitation).
  • You may or may not have memory or thinking problems.
  • You have bladder control issues (urgency, leaking, or frequent urination).
  • You are not too frail or medically unstable for brain surgery, and you can get an MRI and a lumbar puncture.
