Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body and is no longer controlled by hormone therapy that lowers testosterone.
- You have tried only one type of newer hormone therapy (like enzalutamide or apalutamide) and it stopped working.
- You have not taken abiraterone before.
- You are in good overall health, with a performance status of 0 or 1 (fully active or only limited in strenuous activity).
- Your organs (liver, kidneys, bone marrow) are working well enough based on blood tests.
