Studying aortic valve leak progression with past heart ultrasound data

Aortic Regurgitation

This study looks at people with mild-to-moderate aortic valve leakage (aortic regurgitation) to see what factors might make it worse over time. If you have had at least two heart ultrasounds, the study will use your previous results (no new tests or visits needed).

Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You had an echocardiogram (heart ultrasound) between 2003 and March 2025.
  • That ultrasound showed at least a small amount of aortic valve leak (aortic regurgitation).
  • You had at least one follow-up echocardiogram after the first one.
