New Heart Valve for Severe Aortic Leak

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and have severe aortic regurgitation (a leaky aortic valve) causing symptoms like shortness of breath or chest pain.
  • Your heart team has decided that open-heart surgery is too risky for you, but you are still a candidate for a less invasive valve replacement called TAVR.
  • Your aortic valve anatomy (size and shape) must be suitable for the study's special heart valve system, as determined by imaging tests.
  • You must not have had a previous valve replacement or certain other heart or medical conditions that would make the procedure unsafe.
