Who can take part
- You have a type of advanced melanoma (not of the eye) that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery, and you've already tried at least one treatment that didn't work.
- You are generally in good health, able to take care of yourself (ECOG 0-1), and your doctor expects you to live at least 3 more months.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan, and it is not in your brain (unless it's already treated and stable).
- You do not have serious heart, lung, or autoimmune problems, and you are not currently taking strong immune-suppressing medications or live vaccines.
- You agree to use effective birth control during the study if you or your partner could become pregnant.
