Who can take part

  • You or your child must be between 3 and 60 years old.
  • You must be in good general health (ASA class I or II - meaning healthy or only mild illness).
  • You cannot be allergic to oxalidine or sufentanil.
  • No severe heart, liver, or kidney problems.
  • No history of epilepsy or other brain/nervous system conditions.
  • You cannot have taken other opioid pain relievers in the 2 days before surgery.
