Who can take part
- You have Dravet syndrome (confirmed by a doctor, with or without a specific genetic change).
- You have had generalized convulsive seizures (full-body shaking seizures).
- You are not taking stiripentol, certain antidepressants, or other serotonin-related medications.
- You do not have serious heart, lung, liver, or kidney disease.
- You have not taken MAOIs, SSRIs, SNRIs, TCAs, St. John's Wort, tryptophan, or dextromethorphan in the last 14 days.
- You can safely receive midazolam (a medicine used for sedation).
