Who can take part

  • You are 65 years old or older.
  • You either have symptoms of heart failure (like shortness of breath, tiredness, or swollen ankles/legs) OR you have no symptoms but have a risk factor such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, or a history of heart disease.
  • You can understand the study and give your permission (informed consent) to participate.
  • You have not already been diagnosed with heart failure.
  • You have a good-quality ECG (heart tracing) available from a recent visit to a primary care doctor or a routine health check.
