- You had your first seizure or epilepsy diagnosis after age 50.
- You have not had a stroke or mini-stroke before this appointment.
- You do not have a progressive brain disease like a tumor or dementia.
- You are able to give your own consent to participate.
- You have not used seizure medications for more than 3 months before this visit.
