Who can take part

  • Your child is between 5 and 18 years old.
  • Your child is having major spine or hip surgery that lasts longer than 90 minutes at BC Children's Hospital.
  • Your child has a severe neurological impairment (like cerebral palsy) that affects movement or communication.
  • You speak English so we can talk about the study with you.
