This study follows children with cerebral palsy who cannot walk (severe type) and have hip displacement, to see how hip treatment affects long-term outcomes. You may be asked your child’s caregivers to complete a questionnaire so researchers can compare results over time.

Who can take part
- Your child is between 2 and 19 years old
- Your child has severe cerebral palsy and cannot walk (non-ambulant, GMFCS IV or V)
- X-rays show the hip is displaced (Reimer’s MP at least 30%) in at least one hip and it has not been treated before
- The main caregiver involved in daily care agrees to fill out the CPCHILD questionnaire
- You can complete the CPCHILD questionnaire in one of the available languages
