Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have had pain for at least 3 months after a surgery (such as thyroid, breast, orthopedic, or chest surgery).
- Your pain is in the area of surgery or along related nerve pathways.
- Your pain is nerve-related (diagnosed as neuropathic) and moderate to severe (at least 4 on a 0–10 pain scale).
- You are willing to use birth control and not donate sperm or eggs during the study and for 1 month after the last dose.
- You do not have other major causes of pain, serious health conditions, or recent cancer.
