Who can take part

  • You need to be scheduled for a head CTA scan as an outpatient (not staying overnight in the hospital).
  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You cannot have had previous brain surgery with metal implants like aneurysm coils, clips, or stents.
  • You must be able to function fairly independently (Modified Rankin Scale score of 0 to 3).
  • You must be willing to sign a consent form to participate.
  • You must not have any reasons that make a CTA scan unsafe for you, and your scan must be of good quality.
