Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You had symptoms of a stroke (like sudden weakness or trouble speaking)
  • You had a noncontrast CT and a CT angiogram (a special scan to look at blood vessels)
  • The scan showed a large vessel blockage in the brain (like the internal carotid artery or the middle cerebral artery)
  • You are able to have a procedure to remove the blockage (endovascular treatment)
