Who can take part

  • You have severe or very severe COPD (GOLD stage III or IV).
  • Your blood shows high carbon dioxide levels, either at rest or when you exercise.
  • You get tired after using more than 80% of your breathing reserve, or you cannot do more than 50 watts of exercise.
  • You have health insurance and are willing to sign a consent form.
