Who can take part
- You are between 14 and 65 years old.
- Your seizures continue despite taking at least two seizure medicines, and you have at least 3 disabling seizures every 3 months (at least one in the last month).
- You are not a candidate for, or have not improved from, standard epilepsy surgery.
- A video-EEG monitoring test has shown that your seizures start in both temporal lobes of the brain.
- An MRI scan shows scarring (sclerosis) in the hippocampus on both sides of the brain.
