Who can take part
- You are 65 years old or older.
- You have prostate cancer and are about to start hormone therapy (ADT) for the first time, or have started it within the last 2 weeks.
- You have not had chemotherapy or other cancer drugs in the past year.
- You do not have major surgery planned in the next 6 months (minor surgery like eye surgery is okay).
- If you choose to have a muscle biopsy, you cannot be taking blood thinners like clopidogrel, high-dose aspirin, dipyridamole, or anticoagulants, and you must have no bleeding disorders.
