Gallium-68 FAPI-46 PET/CT for inflammation and fibrosis

This trial uses a special PET/CT scan with a tracer called 68Ga-FAPI-46 to see if it can better detect inflammation and scarring (fibrosis) in people with chronic diseases like scleroderma, pulmonary fibrosis, or rheumatoid arthritis. The goal is to improve diagnosis and monitoring.

NCT03755245Enrolling by invitation
Imaging study using a tracer to measure inflammation in joints and lungs

This trial tests how a radioactive imaging medicine (a tracer called 68Ga-DOTA-Siglec-9) spreads in the body and how well it shows inflammation. It includes both healthy volunteers and people with active rheumatoid arthritis, vasculitis, or pulmonary sarcoidosis to see if the scan matches disease activity.
