It is for people who recently had a limb amputated and are already starting to feel phantom pain.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You had a limb amputated less than 12 weeks ago
- You have phantom limb pain that started at least 2 weeks ago and is at least a 3 out of 10 on a pain scale
- You have not changed your pain medication in the past week (except for as-needed pain relievers)
- You have no other neurological or psychiatric conditions, no metal in your head, no implanted devices, and your stump wound is fully healed
