  • You are a healthy adult between 18 and 45 years old
  • You have at least 20 natural teeth (not counting wisdom teeth)
  • You are not pregnant
  • You have not taken antibiotics or anti-inflammatory drugs in the last 3 months
  • You have not had gum treatment (cleaning or surgery) in the last 6 months to a year
