  • Your child has a congenital heart defect diagnosed by a doctor.
  • Your child is between newborn and 16 years old.
  • Your child is being seen at Assiut University Children's Hospital.
  • Your child does not have a separate liver disease.
  • Your child has not had heart surgery in the last 3 months.
  • Your child does not have a serious infection or sepsis right now.
