  • Your baby has a heart defect that needs surgery or a procedure within the first 6 months of life.
  • Your baby is treated at University Hospitals Leuven.
  • Your baby does not have a known genetic syndrome or condition that affects brain development.
  • Your baby does not have a suspected or confirmed metabolic disease.
  • You (parent or guardian) agree to participate and sign a consent form.
