Infrared light therapy for seizures

Drug Resistant Epilepsy

Who can take part

  • You have epilepsy that doesn't respond well to medications (drug-resistant epilepsy).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have at least 2 seizures every month on average.
  • You have kept an accurate seizure diary for at least 3 months.
  • You do not have any implanted brain devices (like a deep brain stimulator or vagus nerve stimulator) or a shunt.
  • You do not have skin sensitivity to light, scalp cancer, or take medications that make you sensitive to light.
