New stimulation implant trial for epilepsy

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have focal or idiopathic generalized epilepsy that does not respond to medication.
  • You have at least 4 focal seizures per month, or frequent spike-wave activity on EEG.
  • You have been told by an epilepsy team that you are not a candidate for epilepsy surgery.
  • You are able to care for the device wound and have a clean home environment.
  • You do not have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or other electrical implant.
