- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a new blockage in a main artery of your eye (central or branch) that started within the last 7 days.
- Your vision in the affected eye is worse than 20/40 (decimal less than 0.5).
- You do not have a bleeding disorder, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or a recent stroke.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
