Who can take part

  • You are having ACL surgery using a hamstring tendon graft at the Schulthess Clinic.
  • This is your first ACL injury on that knee (you may also have a meniscus injury).
  • You have not had any previous knee or hip surgery or ligament rupture on either side.
  • You do not have any metal or electronic devices in your body (like a pacemaker).
  • Your BMI is 30 or lower.
  • You are not pregnant and do not have a neuromuscular disease.
