Who can take part

  • You are a woman aged 18 or older.
  • You are pre- or peri-menopausal (still having periods or your estrogen levels are in the premenopausal range).
  • You plan to take a GnRH agonist (such as leuprolide or goserelin) along with a hormone-blocking pill (like tamoxifen or anastrozole) for breast cancer treatment.
  • You have not had both ovaries removed in the past.
  • If you had chemotherapy, it must be completed. You can still take certain other targeted therapies (like trastuzumab or CDK4/6 inhibitors).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
