Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) or liver tumors that have spread from another cancer.
- Your liver tumors are 5 centimeters or smaller in size, and you have at most 5 tumors.
- The cancer has not spread outside your liver, and if it started elsewhere, that primary tumor was removed and has not come back.
- Your liver function is good (Child-Pugh A or B) and you are otherwise able to do daily activities.
- You have not had cancer treatment (like surgery, chemo, or targeted drugs) in the last 3 weeks.
