Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
  • Your kidney cancer must be clear cell type and cannot be removed by surgery or has spread to other parts of the body.
  • You cannot have had any prior cancer treatment for this kidney cancer.
  • You must be in fairly good health, able to take care of yourself (ECOG 0 or 1).
  • Your blood counts, liver, and kidney function must be within acceptable ranges.
