Stenting vs drainage for blocked bile ducts from cancer
This study compares two ways to open blocked bile ducts near the liver due to cancer that cannot be removed. One method uses a stent placed through the skin (percutaneous stenting), and the other uses a tube placed through a scope (endoscopic drainage). The goal is to see which approach works better for relieving jaundice and improving quality of life.
