Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have had a routine abdominal CT scan that did not use contrast dye.
  • The CT scan must include the top part of your thigh bone (proximal femur).
  • Your CT scan was done for reasons not related to bone or joint problems.
  • You must not have had hip surgery or any metal pins or plates in your hip.
  • You must not have a bone tumor, severe hip deformity, or a past fracture in the top of your thigh bone.
