AI-Guided Bone Density Screening for High-Risk Adults

This study tests whether artificial intelligence can help identify people at risk for weak bones (osteoporosis) using chest X-rays. If you qualify, you'll be randomly assigned to either standard screening or AI-enhanced screening to see which approach works better.

  • Age 40 to 80 years old
  • Score as high-risk on an osteoporosis risk assessment tool based on your age and weight
  • Had a chest X-ray taken within the past year
  • Body mass index (BMI) between 18 and 30 kg/m²
  • No osteoporosis diagnosis in the past 2 years
  • No prior bone density scan (DXA) in the past 2 years
